The ADA Convertible Staircase is specially designed to accommodate facility needs by offering the choice of a straight line or 90 degree corner configuration. This feature offers convenience in space savings as well as dynamics in rehabilitation procedures. Hausmann staircase features two different sized step sections to alternate movements and trigger strength progression. One side of the staircase features three 6 in high steps, while the opposite side offers four 4.5 in steps.
Each individual step of the staircase, along with its 36 by 36 in platform is covered with anti-slip safety treads to provide positive footing and increased safety. As an additional measure of safety, Hausmann fits the Space-Saver Staircase with sturdy, ergonomically designed satin-finished premium hardwood handrails. The Space-Saver Staircases' handrails extend 12 in beyond the final step for increased patient support. The Space-Saver Staircases' rigid construction is designed to support weights up to 350 lbs. The Space Saving Staircase features bright yellow high impact edging around its steps for increased visibility and durability.
